The mission of Truth Church is to share the gospel and love of Jesus Christ with all who come our way! Whether that is accomplished through one-on-one bible studies, hangouts, or volunteering in community food drives and events; we work abundantly to help see individuals, and families restored to a place of stability and a healthy connection with Jesus and with one another. Lastly, is that we serve God and our community and we serve them with gladness! With various needs spread throughout our city we love to be apart of the solution that meets the needs of so many.
SHARING TRUTH
Our top mission is to obey the great commission that was given by Jesus Christ to his followers in Matthew 28:19 that says, "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations..."
We believe that the center of the gospel is Jesus Christ, and that salvation is through him alone and it can come to anyone who is willing to follow and obey. We strive to be a church that is centered on the gospel and on the hope that every man and women who steps foot in the church will be reconciled unto God and ultimately become a true disciple of Jesus Christ.
We preach the grace of Jesus unapologetically because it is God’s grace that trains us to be holy (Titus 2:11-12). And with grace we also preach the special opportunity given to us to obey God's divine Word, as we are called not to be listeners only, but to apply what we have learned (James 1:22).
Our mission is to preach this gospel unapologetically to the whole world.
STRENGTHENING FAMILIES
Though each Christian has a personal relationship with God, that relationship is not individual or private. The Christian faith is not intended to be lived in isolation. We were made for community; relationship with God and with each other. The local church is not merely a place that we attend but a people to whom we belong. The Bible calls us members of one body (1 Corinthians 12:12-31) with that expectation we contribute to one another through helping an individual grow, so that we can see an entire family unit follow that growth.
Living in a Gospel-centered community together, is a radical call amid a culture of mere attendance and casual involvement. It involves mutual love, care, consistency and authenticity for one another as we seek to see each family and each family member be built upon a sure foundation.
SERVING COMMUNITY
As a loving church we view service to our community not as an optional project, but as a natural overflow of the compassion we have for our community. We are driven by a sincere desire to mirror the love of God, through members stepping outside the walls of the church to meet tangible needs with humility and grace. We recognize that every person in our neighborhood possesses value, and has a purpose in God, which motivates us to offer support by participating in food drives for the hungry, mentorship for the youth, comfort for the lonely, and a sobriety program for those looking for a way out of their addictions. This church strives to become a reliable anchor of hope in times of crisis, without expectation of anything in return.
